Based on a fragile, yet successful coallition of regional powers, they appear poised on the verge of total domination of Europe. Gathering momentum as they moved through the various "New" establishments of civilization, they have aquired a considerable following and are able to field large, decently equiped forces. Their lack of technological ability, however, is there one glaring weakpoint. The offensive in the New United Kingdom has strained the coalition and it's resources. A quick victory is needed before the onset of the rainy season and the rumored arrival of forces from the North American Confederation to appease the growing impatience of the COM coalition members. The aquisition of the rich material resources of the New United Kingdom hold-outs would do much to satisfy thier restlessness. A defeat here could invoke a fracture of the badly strained organization, and a loss of power for the ruling Wolf tribe. Small portions of New United Kingdom (NUK) forces have held-out on the far-western penisula of Lands End. Slightly remodled by nuclear warfare several years earlier, the penisula is still capable of supporting a viable population. A brief period of peace during the last few years has allowed the NUK goverment to field a well-trained professional ground force and a small airforce. They have helped themselves to stockpiles of weaponry left by the old English goverment. Many of the peoples of the Isles who seek a democratic form of government have migrated or fled to the Lands End penisula. Ham radio contact has established an agreement with the North American Confederation. As the UCOM army approaches, Confederation forces sail to relieve the defenders of the penisula. Their arrival, however, has been delayed by a large storm in the North Atlantic. The UCOM hordes gather for their final assault on the penisula as the NUK defenders prepare to make their last stand, their Armageddon. UCOM notes: You have aquired a large collection of weaponry from your previous victories, including a large stockpile of chemical weapons. You outnumber your opponent, but lack the overall technological edge. The beginning of the rainy season is just a few weeks away, and North American Confederation forces are rumored to be enroute to the area. You must occupy the penisula and block the sole remaining port at Lands End quickly, or the coalition will dissolve and victory will be lost. Keep an eye on the NUK airforce, and move swiftly. NUK notes: You have a well-trained and equiped force, but lack the numbers to win a slug-fest with the UCOM army. You also have a small cache of nuclear and chemical weapons, which may make-up for your lack of artillery. If you can hold out long enough, reinforcements from the North American Confederation will arrive. Stay mobile and dont get overrun by the far more numerous UCOM units.
