If US president, Cabinet or CIA stuff are killed, US will lose 100, 50, 25 VPs respectivly. US counterattack will boost US morale for a while. As the war goes on, the Europeans will be losing morale, domestic support and running low on supplies. At the late stages of the game, the UE forces will become virtually impotent. US - just the opposite - more supplies, replacements, and guerilla support. There is also a chance that US Army will be reinforced by Japanese Expeditionary Forces or Canadian Army later in the game. Both sides can use NBC weapons (release is granted through theatre options). US can threaten to use strategic nuclear weapons. This move is not advised, until US player is absolutly desperate. Such a threat can make the the UE withdraw their forces, but it can also make nuclear mushrooms grow over American cities. UE can start repressions on occupied territories. This will decrease US guerilla activity. UE can grant Quebec independance from Canada. This will make a small number of Quebec guerillas enter the conflict on UE side. Sough American Bloc "volonteers" and Cuba will assist UE. Mexican troops wont enter conflict until directly attacked by US forces. June 1st, 2003 - operation Maximum Payback beggins. The greatest marine landing in world's history. European Allies invade USA. Can the weakend US Army stop the European tide? SUGGESTED TACTICS Speed is your only hope. US Army hasn't recovered yet from the war in Europe and is poorly prepaired to stop the invasion. The East Coast is guarded only by a small number of scatered regular and NG units. Most forces are just poorly equiped and trained provisionals. You will have no trouble overrunning them. Your worst enemy is time. US forces won't be in defencive for too long. As time runs, you will be short on men, suplies and equipment. The moral of your troops will be droping. If you won't reach Kansas City outer defences by turn 10, you probably never will. Don't neglect air war. Air superiority is absolutely essential for winning this scenario. If the USAF overwhelms you, they can make you supply network easily colapse, by placing most of their FBs in interdiction mode. You own airforce is more than sufficient to cope with American one, but it is still in Europe. You'll have to capture some of American airfields and ferry your aviation there. Protecting these airfields with your AA assets is also a good idea, since they are perfect targets for USAF. You can also use nukes at the very begining of the game to knock out as many US aircraft on their airfields as possible. But be carefull: too many nukes will slow YOUR forces down and can also provoce Americans into using ones of their own. Make the attacks selective. It will seem at the beggining that winning the scenario is impossible. The enemy will have overwhelming superiority. But that situation will last only for a while. Don't try to conduct any counterattacks at the beggining of the game: the enemy will overrun you. Try to preserve as many regular units as you can. Delay the enemy and wait. When you will see that enemy forces are slowing down or stopped - use your reinforcements to counterattack. After that fight all the way back to Washington and NY and throw Europeans back into the sea.
