OPERATION Pay BackThe Serbian invasion of Croatia1. Unit color 1.1. SERBIAN
1.2. CROATIAN
2. Background Croatia takes the initiative in Bosnia by invading and winning a quick campaign in 2 months whilst the Serbs are busy battling the KLA rebels in Kosovo and tryng to appease NATO in order for them to not intervene in the conflict. The Serbian people overthrow the Milosevic regime and then get the green light from NATO to resolve their Kosovo insurgency with all available means. During that transition period in Serbia the Nationalist government in Croatia invades and defeats the Bosnian Muslim and Bosnian Serb republics. This was made easier by the withdrawl of all western forces a month prior in Bosnia after the continual infighting by all factions left the United Nations sick and tired of the quagmire they had created themselves. As their interests in Bosnia were overrun by the Croats, the Serb leadership makes a decision to invade Bosnia and Croatia to rid themselves of the Croatian threat that threatens their own existance in the near future. The superpowers have agreed to stay out of the fighting and not take sides in order to not prelong the conflict even further. This battle promises to be last for both sides and a chance to rid themselves of their decades old rivals once and for all. Serbian guerrillas in both the former Bosnia Serb republic and Croatias Krajina districts have started a campaign to cut-off the supply lines of the Ustahi regime in Zagrab. Theirfore certain supply lines in both Croatia and Bosnia will be cut. |
