Date: September 1939 Location: North-Eastern Poland Map scale: 20 km per hex Time scale: Full day turns Unit Scale: Battalion/Regiment/Brigade/Division Length: 17 Turns Poland: Army - Blue on Green Air Force - Lt. Blue on Green KOP - Pale on Green ON - Red on Green USSR: warious on Dark Red This is an alternative history scenario based on the situation, when not Germany, but the USSR strikes first on 1 September 1939 at the eastern border of Poland. SIGNIFICANT EVENTS: 1) Soviet forces will have shock and air shock bonuses for the first turn. 2) As the time flows, Polish supply will decrease and Soviet supply will increase. 3) Poland also will lose supply if Lida is captured. 4) There will be several troop withdrawals on the Soviet side.
