THE CONTINUATION WAR Attack phase of Finnish Continuation War in 29th of June 1941 shortly after Germany launched operation Barbarossa. Date: 29th June 1941 Location: Finland Map scale: 15km per hex Time scale: Half-week turns Unit scale: Company/Battalion/Regiment Length: 50 turns UNIT COLORS: FINLAND Finland - Grey/Blue/Yellow on White Finnish Border Units - White on Blue Finnish Air Force - White on Blue Finnish Navy - Blue on Blue German - Grey/Purple on Grey German Waffen SS - Grey on Dark Grey German Luftwaffe - Blue on Dark Blue German Griegsmarine - Black on Dark Blue SOVIET Red Army - Red/Black/Green on Red Soviet Border/Partisans - Red on Green Soviet Air Force - Red on Blue Soviet Navy - Red and Yellow on Red Finland allows German troops move through Petsamo area to Soviet border. Germans launch operation Barbarossa 22nd of June 1941. Soviet Air Force bombs several cities all over Finland in 25th of June. Finland declares war to Soviet Union and starts a summer attack to gain back fatherlands old borderlines which it lost in Winter War. SIGNIFICANT EVENTS: Finnish supply level starts to decrease around turn 6. Soviet Supply level starts to increase from turn 6. Soviet supply level decreases if finnish troops can cut Murmansk rail. Cutting Murmansk rail will decrease Soviet Supply by 1 to 5 from each victory location. Finnish supply level increases when Viipuri is captured.
