CENTCOM vs. AxisPlay as the Allies against AI. Original map by Patrick Feiret WWII units and scenario environment taken from Chris Jones War in Europe 7 and my Inside the Reich scenarios 1. Background 1.1. April 3 2003 Stange electromagnetic distortions detected in Baghdad. 1.2. August 1939 Hitler and Stalin conclude a non-agression pact. The respective spheres of influence are clearly defined. There in no anti Soviet sentiment in Germany. Hitler concentrates in building a large fleet and is determined to destroy England and France. A large U-boat force is already poised to strike at British sea transport assets and an additional fleet of capital ships is ready by mid 1940. The US under Joseph Kennedy is staunchly isolationist. The Soviets are more interested in defeating Japan and helping Mao Tse Tung in his quest to control China. England is not prepared for the coming onslaught. 1.3. USA 2004 The Baghdad distortions had the same signature as the Philadelphia Experiment and Project Montauk. The timeline is changing and swastikas are seen throughout the US phasing in and out. If we do nothing this new timeline will replace our current one. Project Montauk will be reopened and we must set things right or cease to exist. CENTCOM opens a time portal to the past and sees an Axis victory. The timeline is changing. The Army fresh from its victory over Iraq mobilizes quickly for a journey into the past. It will travel through the wormhole when the OK is given by scientists, but the date in the past is yet unknown, for optimum conditions are essential. 2. The orders are
We will also send agents into the US in order to get Roosevelt or Truman into office by 1944. Following the destruction of Axis forces, we shall return back to 2004 and allow the 1940s US forces to oversee the rebuilding of Europe. After Berlin falls, destroy all remaining Axis units for complete victory. Be carefull in employing your CENTCOM ground units, for they cannot reconstitute. It is essential that we succeed for as it stands now, the Axis will invade the continental US in 1943. The time continuun is very unstable and only our victory will ensure our survival. 3. Note UK forces will withdraw to Canada on turn 71. This will be beneficial, CENTCOM forces will stage from Greenland, and the wormholes at Casablanca, Rome and London will be operable for reinforcements when those sites are liberated. OSS agents will provide you the coordinates of the German future tech. centers for your tomahawks to destroy. The Germans have been constructing these centers since the mid 30s obviously with the help of timetravellers from the future. If UK surrenders, you will not receive those coordinates, and these centers will produce jet aircraft and special German marines, who will come after you in Greenland on turn 80. If you can hold on to London long enough, the Allies will receive a supply boost on turn 71. If London falls before that, the wormhole will not be open long enough for supplies to travel through and CENTCOM forces will receive only minimal replacements. The reinforcenents in Casablanca Rome and London will not appear, as German scientists with the help of the Iraqi timetravellers manage to permanently shut down your wormhole. In haste you will travel through an unstable wormhole with only 20% of the designated forces, your air units appear in Greenland and your ground forces in southern Morrocco. You will lack the ordnance to defeat the Axis and will be forced to surrender if you loose your Greenland airbases. Spain and Turkey activate with the fall of Gibraltar or Port Said. Spanish units surrender with the fall of Rome. |
