EUROPEAN THEATER OF WAR.This scenerio depicts the whole theater of conflict using Patrick Feyret's map "War in Europe" and his idea for the OOB, although I modified it to the Corp level and added some of my own ideas. I have modified it and utilized the English for Places and Events and expanded it to include America as a source for American units to originate from (Exceptions: Air units and Airborne will deploy in England.) Attack against France and Low countries cannot commence until turn 10 at the earliest although Germany stands a good chance of being defeated. Attack against USSR cannot commence until turn 88. Winter War (Finland vs. USSR) is limited in scope, but playable with two opponates. USSR Units will only appear for 12 turns, then reappear on turn 90. USA ground units will appear in early 1943. Naval and air units earlier. Best played using two players, but computer opponent possible. To be played as the Axis if single player mode is used. END OF SCENERIO: Fall of Berlin. 1. GERMAN UNITS Carrier and Airgroup Graf Zeppelin are in this scenerio. (Germany really did have a CVE! They just never used it.) I'm using Japanese airunits which are comparable to what the Germans had planned for their Airgroups. The obsolete BB's (Schlesweig-Holstein, etc.) given CA strengths. Germany will lose it's Airborne capability around turn 100 (60% probability), and the FSJ Corps will appear shortly thereafter. (Army Parachute; turn 70. Airlanding; turn 105. FSJ; turn 125) Vichy forces appear 8 turns after the fall of Paris. Volksturm appear when Warsaw is liberated. 2. USSR NKVD units. Volunteer units. Naval units include ships and Marine Brigades. Caucus army remains active for 40 turns after fall of Moscow. 3. BRITISH BEF in France will disappear when Dunkirk falls. Commonwealth units will appear in Egypt. Canadian Commonwealth in England. |
