Green plan

The invasion of Czechoslovakia

1. Background
October 1938, to the general surprise, Czechoslovakia, supported by Soviet Union, refused the diktat of Munich and decides to resist to Germany.
Furious, Hitler decides to activate the "green plan" and is inviding the country.
Czech army, firmly entrenched behind his "small Maginot line", is waiting, decided to defend his soverainity until the end.

2.1. Wehrmacht
  • Navy blue on black : Luftwaffe
  • Green on dark grey : 10th army
  • White on grey : 8th army
  • Black on grey : Schliessen group and second army
  • Black on dark green : Freikorp Sudentenland
  • Salmon on grey : 14th army
  • Light grey on grey : 12nd army
2.2. Czechoslovakia
  • Dark red on dark blue : bunkers
  • Salmon on grey-blue : Defense groups
  • light blue on white : North of Bohemia
  • Grey on grey-blue : border guards
  • Yellow on white : North of Moravia
  • Light yellow on white : Slovakia
  • Grey on white : reserve
  • Khaki on white : south of Bohemia
  • Red : Soviet corps
  • light yellow on grey-blue : groupe de défense Ostrava
3. Main events
  • Turn 5 : Slovak troops arrive
  • Tour 6 : Soviet troops arrive
  • Tour 30 : German Army is out of supply, the attack is stopped.
  • There is a small chance that Hungaria invide Slovakia. This will force the withdraw of some Czech units and a drop its supply.
  • If Czech troops threats Chemnitz, some reserve units will appear. The ridicule of the situation will cost 10 VP to German.
