Tropico is small island near Cuba,which was part of Cuba.In 1960 Tropico population was 20.000.Tropico has revolution only few years after Cuba have it.Leader of Tropican revolution was General Juan Raul Sanchez and he fought with his men versus Castro's forces on Tropico.They won the war and killed all Cuban soldiers on Tropico,only one day later Tropico declares its independence which was supported by USA and few months later by USSR and Cuba.President (EL PRESIDENTE) became General Juan Raul Sanchez.Leader of communist party became Hector Gomez Cuper.Cuper was very smart men and he took this position because he knew that communist party will be supported by all Tropicans and that party leader could be more powerfull than president.90 % of Tropico population became a party members.Other were pro-cuban (like Manuel Carreras) and pro-American (like Pedro Barbarossa).President Sanchez also was an army leader.In 1968 Tropico declares war upon Cuba because of few sea square miles.Tropican navy (few boats with machin-guns) were easily beaten by Cuban capital ships but Soviets intervene and war ends with status quo.But Tropico still lose all its NAVY and few Tropicans were killed in the war.Then leader of communists Hector Gomez Cuper saw his chance and started to blame president.Both people and army supported Cuper. But president Sanchez didn't resign.In january 1970 few tropican soldiers and general Cordoba stormed into presidental palace and killed Sanchez.But general Cordoba also was killed by presidental guards.In the morning Tropico has its new president Hector Gomez Cuper.Cuper improved relations with Cuba.Cuba and Tropico became friendly nations.Soviets started to support Cuper by all means.Tropican economy has its big boost,El Tropicano City (Tropican capital) became much bigger city,tourism started to develop in the new city Santa Maria on the south.Tropican jungle became smaller because of farms and bigger cities.Tropican workers made a road through the jungle and on other side of the island new city was borned -- CORDOBA (by surname of general Cordoba).Tourism in the city of Santa Maria became the main capital source.Many tourists from all over the world started to come to Tropico.In 1975 Tropico became a top tourist destination.Soviets continue to help Tropicans and in 1980 Tropico build three big ports (El Tropicano CIty,Santa Maria,Cordoba),in 1982 Tropico built its airport in El Tropicano City which gave big boost to tourism.But people wanted elections.Soviets also help Tropican military by giving him few old tanks,howitzers,mortars and rocket launchers.AK-47 was the main Tropican weapon.Soviets also gave Tropico few old airplanes Mig-17 and Mig-19,and Tropicans bought from French few Mirages III.Tropican army became very strong for island's needs.

But people wasn't happy.They wanted elections,many people started to support pro-american orientated Pedro Barbarossa. But Cuper didn't allow elections.He wasn't sure that he will win it and he was affraid of loosing power.Americans started to support Barbarossa. Secretly CIA agents gave the weapons to Barbarossa and his man.In 1986 civil war started when capitalist rebbels atacked army base in Tropican jungle. Army was strong but also rebbels has big manpower.Goverment of Tropico act normaly and continue to invite tourists.But in the jungle situation was different.Full-scale war errupts.In 1987 rebbels started offensive and they captured Cordoba city.Also they succeded to capture army base in jungle and capture many weapons (like mortars). In 1988 they controlled jungle and road through it.In 1989 they captured mountain El Tropicana over the capital.With mortars they bombed city.But then army started big offensive.Army planes and helicopters bombed rebbel controled areas of island.On the land general Pablo Ramirez suceeded to win few battles and he completely destroyed rebbels.Pedro Barbarossa was captured and executed.With rebbels army captured few american soldiers and CIA agents,they was also executed.USA was very angry.Nation demanded from president to act quickly and to completely destroy Tropico and kill people who killed american soldiers.US marines and delta forces started coming to Jamaica,island very near of Tropico.US boats and carriers enter Tropican waters.US planes landed on jamaican airports. Soviet Union has many own problems and it can't think about Tropico right now.Tropico started mobilization and prepares for invasion.People support for president Cuper became stronger. Tropican soldier captured few american tourist and Cuper said that in case of invasion tourist will be executed.

Cuba offers millitary assistance to Tropico in case of US invasion.
