CHINA 2009 - The Siege1. UNIT COLORS
2. Background This hypothetical scenario portrays unexpected Chinesese invasion on Russia in an atempt to take the border city of Chabarovsk. Chineese gathered large force divided between I & II Corps: three mechanised divisions, five motor infantry brigades, corps-level artillery and recon units, some of which managed to sneack through the border undetected. They have modest supply capacity, however poor communication tracks, weather and logisticks will reduce supply effects signifficantly. Russians are largerly unprepared, with only one mechanised regiment and some small garrison and territorial defence/police units. To survive, they will have to delay Chinese advance and use guerilla tactics. Fortify the city of Chabarovsk, blow bridges if neccessary and hope for the best. Reinforcements are on the way! |
