Vielkye Luki 1942Version: 1.0 designed on the basis of V4V classic strategy. 1. UNIT COLORS 1.1. Germans
1.2. Soviets
2. Background This semi-historical scenario is my tribute to Three-Sixty/Atomic Games V4V series. I have to made necessary simplifications to downscale the game, though. Vielkye Luki battle that took place in winter 1942/1943 on the northern sector of the russian front resembles much epic struggle that took place at the same time many miles to the south - at Stalingrad. This is a story of the offensive, siege and desperate relief operation. As the Soviet, you have to trade between taking the city and sealing off German counteroffensive. As the German, you have to brake through with the supplies for the Vielkye Luki garrison - they will not hold on for long time without this. |
